The Great Southern Stage Run is an official qualifying event for the Everest 135 Extreme Race. The Everest 135 is an ultra-distance, high-altitude endurance race from Nepal Jiri to the Everest South Base Camp in the Himalayas. Conducted in a non-stop, self navigation format it covers a total length of 135 miles (217 kilometers) with a cumulative ascent of more than 16,000m and passes. This is a spectacular un through a breathtaking landscape.
