Welcome to the Great Southern Stage Run a 3 day stage race through the wild and rugged Great Southern region of Western Australia that should be on everyone’s bucket list!

Featuring a 200km course from the Valley of the Giants at Walpole to the Torndirrup Peninsula at Albany, runners traverse a rugged coastline of remote beaches, windswept horizons and sheer granite cliffs in an epic 3 day trail running event anyone can be part of. Designed for relay teams and solos, the course delivers a life changing odyssey for all runners.

WHEREWalpole to Albany in the Great Southern Region of WA
THE COURSEAn off-road course following long sections of the famed Bibbulmun Track
DAY 1: 70km – from Valley of the Giants, Walpole to Boat Harbour campground.
Leg 1: 17km > Leg 2: 18km > Leg 3: 22.5km > Leg 4: 12.3km
DAY 2: 77km – from Parry Campground to Kennedy Camp.
Leg 1: 14km > Leg 2: 15km > Leg 3: 22km > Leg 4: 25.8km
DAY 3: 56km – from Kennedy Camp to Camp Quaranup Albany.
Leg 1: 18km > Leg 2: 12km > Leg 3: 16km > Leg 4: 10km
WHOOpen to relay teams of 4 (or 3 or 2) running 1 leg each day.
Also open to solos running the whole course (qualification standards apply).
LOGISTICSAll runners encouraged to stay together overnight
at the coordinated group accommodation at each day’s finish line,
creating a unifying, social and supportive environment for all runners.

Entries are strictly limited to 90 relay teams and 30 individuals.
